for that person. a controversial ad that sparked concern for metro will be going up at several d.c. metro stops today. a federal judge made the ruling over the weekend. >> the signs have already set off protests in the new york subways. fox 5's melanie alnwick is live at the u street station with the latest. >> reporter: good morning. this is one of the stations where one. those ads will go up at some time today. we don't know exactly what time these ads are going to go up and they aren't expected to be particularly visible, just one ad in each of four stations throughout metro's pretty expansive subway system so metro police say they are ready in case anyone decides to protest them. the ads paid for bit american freedom defense initiative say, quote, in any war between civilized man and the savage, support the civilized man. support israel. defeat jihad. many say these are offensive because they equate muslims

here is a look at yesterday's highs. wait until i tell you the difference of where we should be. 56degrees we hit at reagan national airport yesterday. 52 at dulles. 55 at bwi thurgood marshall. these temperatures are 17 to 19 degrees below the seasonal average. that is a pretty good indication. we had hit 80 degrees into the end of the week on friday so unbelievable. it is currently 46 at d.c. 42 at baltimore. only 37 at gaithersburg this morning. 37 at frederick. 40 at hagerstown. 37 at martinsburg. 44 at fredericksburg. the cooler air is definitely intact. across the west, we've got frost warnings and freeze advisories for the areas shaded here. so this is until 9:00 this morning where temperatures are going to be in some areas below the freezing mark and into the low to mid-30s. really chilly across areas of

our west. satellite-radar composite showing you we've got some clouds streaming in. this will move its way up to the east. we'll be left with showers and rain into the course of this afternoon and into the evening. in the meantime, mainly cloudy skies. a little bit of fog out there to deal with. that will be out of the way soon. the wet weather is expected to kick in and the cooler conditions are not going anywhere for today. we are still looking at a pretty chilly day. so by this afternoon, about midday, increasing clouds. i can't rule out maybe a stinkle or two especially to areas to the south by the time we hit the midday hour. by 5:00, we are set up for a chance of some showers. we are looking at a daytime high of about 56 degrees. here is a look at your fox 5 accu-weather seven-day forecast. some of that wet weather lingering into the early hours of tuesday and then bit afternoon, partly sunny skies. we start to warm up a little bit into the course of the week even hitting almost the mid-70s by hump day and then sunshine through to the end of the week.
